Are you an experienced senior leader within children's residential care looking for your next strategic challenge? We are working in exclusive partnership with a well-established children's residential care provider to recruit an Operations Manager for their growing service in Merseyside. As Operations Manager, you will provide strategic and operational oversight across a group of children's residential homes, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and performance. You will play a pivotal role in driving quality, supporting Registered Managers, and contributing to the organisation's continued development and expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious leader who is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide leadership and performance management to Registered Managers
  • Drive compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Monitor and improve quality standards across services
  • Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Support occupancy growth and business development objectives
  • Develop and mentor management teams
  • Ensure services consistently deliver outstanding care and outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven senior leadership experience within children's residential care
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Track record of managing multiple homes/services
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
