This 12-month contract offers a sophisticated leadership opportunity to provide strategic oversight and operational management for a specialist clinic and training programs. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of clinical and administrative functions. You’ll play a central role in advancing charitable objectives, including rural outreach and registrar training, while maintaining high-quality patient advocacy.
Job Responsibility:
Provide operational oversight of clinical functions in alignment with Board directives and organisational policies
Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality systems to ensure legislative and accreditation requirements are met
Lead and hold senior managers accountable, ensuring staffing aligns with clinical requirements and service delivery
Oversee financial performance, manage budgets, and identify resource efficiencies to ensure long-term viability
Act as the primary point of contact for staff, contractors, and external partners
Deliver high-level reporting and analysis to the Board to support evidence-based decision-making
Lead audits and policy reviews to strengthen safety, quality, and patient flow.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Practice, Operations, or Business Management
Proven capability in enterprise-level strategic leadership and managing senior staff
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Canva
Ability to exercise sound judgment and ethical leadership in complex environments
Current vaccinations and a commitment to workplace health and safety
Must be Australian Citizen or P.R.
