This position is a hands-on, versatile role responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations with limited onsite staffing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities, including warehousing, delivery coordination, inventory management, and general operational support. Rather than being a traditional desk or production role, this position serves as a trusted operational support function, helping ensure smooth daily branch activities while partnering with remote administrative leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Receive inbound material and verify against paperwork
Safely operate forklifts to unload deliveries and move material
Stage, pull, and prepare material for outbound deliveries
Load delivery trucks accurately and securely
Maintain organized warehouse layout and material locations
Receive, move, and relieve inventory accurately in the ERP system
Maintain physical-to-system inventory alignment
Support basic cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
Assist with RMA intake, staging, and documentation
Perform local deliveries as needed
Assist with routing execution based on schedules provided remotely
Ensure materials are delivered complete and on time
Represent the company professionally on job sites and customer locations
Execute pick tickets and shipping paperwork generated remotely
Coordinate with remote operations team for daily priorities
Communicate issues clearly and early (missing material, damage, delays)
Maintain basic documentation and photo records when required
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience of 5 years or more
Door shop, millwork, or construction trade experience strongly desired
Prior delivery driving experience
Experience working independently with remote supervision
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
Warehouse or logistics experience
Comfortable using ERP or inventory systems (training provided)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift and handle heavy materials (doors, hardware, pallets)
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Exposure to inventory management or cycle counting
Nice to have:
Interest or ability to grow into PM or operations support functions
