We are looking for an Operations & Logistics Manager to join our team in the DACH sub-region, with a specific focus on driving our growth in Austria. This isn't just a desk jobit's an intense, high-impact role that combines savvy analytics with on-the-ground execution. You will be the architect of our marketplace, ensuring we have the right pricing, technology, and driver supply to keep our cities moving. The outcome will be measurable (growing trips and revenues, improving marketplace reliability, growing supply) and will be directly impacted by your daily actions. You will help support decision-making within your team through your critical thinking, strategic behavior, and data-driven approach. The Operations Manager role will need to develop robust and streamlined processes, work on delivering tech and product launches, ensure marketplace health, and attract, convert, engage, and retain riders and partners facing a multitude of complex needs and bottlenecks. This requires a dedication to operational excellence, a deep understanding of driver lifecycle and economics, and a customer-centric attitude.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategize & Execute: Collaborate with Local Operations teams and GMs to outline and implement Uber's strategy across the DACH region
  • Analyze the Marketplace: Deep dive into data sets to identify product and pricing needs, getting to the root cause of operational bottlenecks
  • Build & Scale: Create streamlined processes that allow the business to grow efficiently across regions while maintaining marketplace reliability
  • Optimize Performance: Continuously monitor business metrics and KPIs, building dashboards to steer performance and improve the driver lifecycle
  • Stay Compliant: Rapidly adapt to and adhere to evolving regulatory requirements within the sector
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure our local growth needs are met

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience using analytics to solve complex business problems
  • Proficiency in SQL is a must
  • Professional proficiency in both German and English
  • A data-driven decision-making mentality coupled with sound business judgment
