The Operations Governance & Resilience Manager will support the COO in strengthening operational governance across myPOS’ regulated European payments business. The role operates within the governance framework of a regulated e-money institution supervised by the Central Bank of Ireland (“CBI”) and supporting an affiliated institution supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”). As such, the successful candidate will work closely with senior management and control functions to ensure operational frameworks, reporting and resilience capabilities remain aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practice.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and deliver the firm’s Operational Resilience programme
Ensure the firm’s Operational Resilience and ICT governance frameworks remain aligned with Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) requirements
Own the firm’s BCM framework
Serve as the Dublin-based IM coordinator to monitor all incidents, prepare regulatory reporting assessments, and manage post-incident reviews
Support 2nd line in ensure alignment of the Operational Resilience, DORA and BCM frameworks with the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Risk Register
Ensure the timely, accurate and complete production and delivery of regulatory reporting to the CB, the FCA and other applicable authorities
Consolidate Management Information (“MI”) across operational functions into structured reporting packs for the firm’s Executive Committee and Board
Design and implement operational dashboards and analytics frameworks
Lead and develop a Data and Reporting team consisting of analysts located in Dublin and Bulgaria
Provide Dublin-based operational governance oversight of IT and Information Security teams located in Bulgaria
Support governance of technology outsourcing arrangements
Ensue operational and regulatory expectations relating to technology risk and ICT governance and resilience are effectively embedded across the firm
Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in technology operations, operational risk, resilience, or operational governance roles within financial services or fintech
Strong understanding of Operational Resilience, DORA, BCM and regulatory expectations within environments supervised by regulators such as the CBI and FCA
Strong analytical skills with practical experience of SQL or similar data interrogation tools, and operational dashboards using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
Pragmatic and informed interest in use of AI tools to enhance reporting and analytics
Experience of card acquiring, card issuing and payments is a strong advantage
Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including preparation of materials for senior management and Board reporting
A structured and disciplined approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities, escalate risks appropriately and meet regulatory deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, technology and control functions
