Job Description:

The Operations Executive in Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operational processes. This includes assisting the Reporting Managers in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, preparing and analyzing reports, and ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all warehouse activities. The role requires strong computer skills for report preparation, data analysis, and communication, as well as an understanding of warehouse operations.

Job Responsibility:

Warehouse Operations Support: Assist Reporting Managers in coordinating and managing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, shipping, receiving, and storage
Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and aligns with organizational standards
Monitor warehouse processes and resolve operational issues that may arise
Assist in overseeing health and safety protocols within the warehouse environment
Report Preparation s Analysis: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipping
Analyze data and provide insights to the Reporting Manager regarding operational efficiency, warehouse productivity, and inventory trends
Generate reports for senior management to support decision-making processes
Maintain accurate records of stock, movements, and inventory using software tools
Inventory s Supply Chain Coordination: Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage of goods
Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to monitor supply chain operations and prevent stockouts or overstock situations
Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data and future demand
Process Optimization: Help identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Assist with the implementation of new procedures or technologies aimed at increasing operational efficiency
Monitor warehouse workflow and recommend changes to improve productivity and reduce costs
System s Computer Knowledge: Prepare detailed reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
Maintain accurate data entry
Help train and support warehouse staff on software tools and reporting systems
Communication s Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with other departments (logistics, procurement, HR, etc.) to ensure warehouse operations are aligned with overall business goals
Assist the Regional Manager in communicating with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and other stakeholders
Provide timely and accurate updates on warehouse status and activities to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

MBA (Master of Business Administration) from a recognized institution, ideally with a focus on operations or supply chain management
Fresher
Hands-on experience in report preparation, data analysis, and system management in an operational environment
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills including pivot tables, data analysis, macros) and Other Reporting Tools (e.g., Google Sheets, MS Access, or custom reporting systems)
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and create detailed reports
Excellent communication skills for working with regional managers, warehouse teams, and other stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
