Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for an Operations EHS Focal – France to support our activities across the country. The role will be based out of Senlis, FR. Position Summary:The Environment Health and Safety Specialist will lead implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, ensuring compliance with French legal requirements and Boeing Group standards. This role acts as the local EHS focal point, partnering with operational leadership and the EHS EMEA team to reduce risks, prevent injuries, and promote a strong safety culture across the site.

Job Responsibility

  • Support projects aimed at anticipating, recognizing, evaluating and controlling safety and environmental hazards within all our companies’ activities related to the business in France
  • Ensure the EHS Management System elements are applied effectively and comply with French regulations and The Boeing Company standards
  • Drive thorough investigations for all incidents and accidents, develop effective root cause analysis and countermeasures, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions
  • Guide management to improve their effectiveness as safety leaders and promote safety culture locally as well as collaborate with them on matters regarding the local works council
  • Effectively communicate EHS metrics and regulatory compliance status to functional teams, local leadership, and the EHS EMEA Department
  • Support conducting site audits, inspections, evaluations, and reviews necessary for regulatory compliance and internal EHS standards
  • Evaluate existing or emergent risk management control technologies and provide regulatory assessment, interpretation, reporting, and technical expertise to management and employees
  • Maintain and update mandatory EHS documentation and records in compliance with French regulations
  • Support EHS onboarding and training of new employees and contractors to raise EHS awareness
  • Support your Department with occasional additional tasks as needed in coordination with the France Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Higher education degree or successful completion of an occupational apprenticeship within the logistics and/or wholesale sector
  • 2+ years’ experience in safety and environmental program responsibilities, preferably in warehouse logistics, manufacturing, or industrial segments
  • Strong knowledge of French health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Fluent French & English skills to collaborate effectively with international teams
  • Experience working with SAP based ERP systems

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science or related disciplines or equivalent subject matter knowledge, skills and abilities acquired through work
  • Applied knowledge in health and safety disciplines including Hazard Communication, LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Incident Investigation, Ergonomics, and Behavioral Based Safety
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience developing and implementing safety and environmental programs, policies, and training
  • Ability to be self-directed and complete work with minimal supervision
  • Additional certification or training in risk prevention, auditing, or EHS regulations is an asset
