Job Description:

Operations Director role leading multiple production sites across East Midlands & East Anglia, driving performance, embedding lean methodologies, and maintaining a culture where people and values come first in an industrial manufacturing/production environment.

Job Responsibility:

Set pace aligning operations across sites to meet growth plans
Lead change streamlining processes and improving efficiency
Empower people building strong values-led teams
Work closely with CEO creating operationally focused strategies
Own operations with direct responsibilities for Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, Safety and Continuous Improvement
Instil accountability across teams
Assess processes and methodologies for improvements
Monitor and introduce new KPIs
Control CAPEX budget
Support integration of new ERP system

Requirements:

Strong track record of achievement in building successful teams (succession planning and people development)
Background from a manufacturing/production environment
Degree qualified
Six Sigma/Lean qualifications
Examples of structure and process implementation resulting in positive commercial outcomes
Responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX budget

Nice to have:

Experience in highly regulated industry
Other discipline experiences
