Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Operations / DevOps Engineer to join a small, agile team responsible for running and maintaining SonarQube — a widely used static code analysis platform — within a large enterprise IT environment. This is primarily an operations role, not a development position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure maximum uptime and SLA compliance for a platform serving thousands of internal users
  • Deploy, integrate, and onboard new tools and system components
  • Troubleshoot emerging issues and proactively prevent future incidents — preferably through automated scripts
  • Follow and execute product updates during monthly Change Weekends with minimal downtime
  • Provide user support and handle incoming tickets from a large internal user base

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in IT operations / systems administration
  • Strong Linux knowledge (RedHat 7–9, Ubuntu 22–24)
  • Understanding of container networking — configuring communication between containers, not just running them
  • Hands-on scripting skills: Python (primary) and Bash (highly recommended)
  • Docker experience
  • EU citizenship and reside in Hungary, or are willing to relocate to Hungary within a short period of time

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, GitLab, MySQL
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Grafana (log analysis, DB health)
  • Knowledge of large enterprise internal IT infrastructure is a significant advantage
  • Docker Swarm knowledge is a plus
  • Self-driven, proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • At ease collaborating in English with colleagues of various nationalities
What we offer:
  • Scandinavian company culture which means flat structure, quick information flow, open communication, and people in focus
  • Flexible working hours, work-life balance
  • An extra holiday for your birthday, extended parental leave and extra healthcare days
  • Professional development opportunities (Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, hard- and soft-skill trainings, and language learning
  • Top notch equipment (high-end laptop, 2 monitors + 1 for your home office, mobile phone)
  • Referral, loyalty, and performance bonuses
  • Special attention to your health and well-being (private health insurance, sport events, massage, office fruits)
