Job Description:

As an Operations Data Technician you will support test runs at fulfillment centers in the Southeast, including Shreveport, LA, Norfolk, VA and Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collect operational data directly from fulfillment center activities
  • Pull totes off the line, count contents, and verify inventory accuracy
  • Record findings and discrepancies in Excel spreadsheets
  • Investigate discrepancies and document root causes when possible
  • Provide daily updates and reports to my team
  • Support targeted audits to help validate fixes deployed by our development teams
  • Potentially travel to other fulfillment centers in the SE region as needs evolve

Requirements:

  • Associates degree and/or hands on project, technician or research experience tracking and maintaining data entries
  • Comfortable using Excel for data entry and basic analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid basic math/statistics skills (averages, counts, comparisons, etc.)
  • Able to follow instructions consistently and work independently
  • Someone scrappy, reliable, and hands-on
  • Open to travel as the work may shift to other buildings over time
