Job Description

Our client is on the lookout for a bright and organised Operations Assistant to join their vibrant London team. This is your chance to dive into the heart of operations, supporting a variety of tasks that keep the office running smoothly. As an Operations Assistant, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure everything in the London office operates smoothly. You will also contribute to operational tasks across our client's international offices. If you're eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you!

Job Responsibility

  • Provide direct support to the Operations Manager on daily tasks and ongoing projects
  • Assist with office operations in London, including facilities management, supplies, and equipment coordination
  • Help organise internal events, team travel, and meetings across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support onboarding processes for new joiners (equipment, email setup, induction materials, etc.)
  • Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and financial administration
  • Maintain and update operational documents, records, and internal systems
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers when needed
  • Provide cross-office support to teams internationally as required
  • Contribute to additional projects, such as legal directory submissions and updating the firm's website

Requirements

  • Prior administrative or operations support experience, and a keen interest in law, professional services, or business operations
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle various tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A detail-oriented mindset, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A team player attitude who can also work independently and take initiative
