Job Description:

HSBC Digital Business Services is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. Digital Business Services combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition.

Job Responsibility:

Operates the Note Sorting Machines, cleans the machine from time to time during the day according to the operating instructions, and clear machine jam if occurs
Performs batching of uncounted notes for machine processing
Checks and verifies machine-rejected notes in the cull pocket so that the total is reconciled in each count and report to team member/ Section Head Note Processing in case of surplus / shortage or counterfeit notes found
Performs sorting and balancing of RMB notes and the handling of mixed denomination notes from CDMs of branches/SSTs and CaPC
Bundles banknotes sorted by the machines into standard note bricks
Performs cash balancing after machine processing and records cash discrepancies
Assists the executive in re-counting old notes

Requirements:

Overall 1-3 years of experience in cash related job role
Good at simple arithmetic
