Operations and Maintenance Engineer

• Manage maintenance activities, energy centres, and operational performance
• Lead contractor performance and ensure regulatory compliance
• Deliver excellent customer service and liaise with staff, clients, and service providers
• Implement plant policies and process improvements
• Ensure heat metering equipment operates correctly, so customers receive timely, accurate bills and minimise the potential for disputed accounts
• Support Water and Heat Emergency Response Team as a tier 2 on-call representative

• Operational experience with heating, cooling, or energy distribution assets
• Contractor management and financial oversight experience
• Strong knowledge of asset management, industry standards, and HSE compliance
• Degree in engineering or relevant training/apprenticeship
• Full UK driving licence

IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are desirable
