The company is a major consumer goods distribution powerhouse in Malaysia, specialising in market expansion and capillary logistics for prominent Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands. This is a brand-new role created to revive and drive operational analysis that has recently been stagnant. The successful candidate will act as a sole contributor, extracting raw data from portal systems and utilising Salesforce to deliver actionable data insights and reporting directly to the sales and operations leadership. Key Focus Areas: The role centres heavily on tracking, crunching, and optimising 13 core logistics and warehouse KPIs, including: Warehouse speeds (picking, truck loading, delivery, and invoice returns). Inventory tracking (total branch, agency, and dormant stock analysis). Fleet efficiency (daily truck operation times, idling times, and route variations).

Requirements
Analytical Capability: A strong aptitude for data manipulation, trend analysis, and report writing
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (ability to easily pivot and manipulate data) and comfort working with CRM/ERP tools like Salesforce and proprietary raw data portals
Domain Knowledge: A solid grasp of logistics terminology, warehouse KPI tracking, fleet capacity management, and supply chain workflows
Industry Experience: While open to candidates from non-FMCG backgrounds who possess strong logistics metrics experience, a background in FMCG or consumer distribution is highly preferred
Functional Extra: Prior experience with inventory forecasting
Communication/Culture: Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage given the key stakeholder demographics and regional focus
