Job Description

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support day-to-day business operations and ensure smooth workflow across multiple departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both administrative and operational functions. The Operations Administrator will play a key role in coordinating processes, maintaining documentation, and supporting internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within insurance operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Support daily operational workflows across underwriting, claims, or policy administration teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in internal systems and ensure data integrity
  • Assist with processing insurance applications, policy changes, and related administrative tasks
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments, carriers, and external partners as needed
  • Review and organize policy and client documentation for completeness and compliance
  • Support reporting efforts by gathering and inputting operational data into spreadsheets or systems
  • Monitor workflow queues and assist in prioritizing and routing tasks appropriately
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding policy status, documentation, or operational processes
  • Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related documentation tracking
  • Provide general administrative support to operations leadership and team members

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of administrative, operations, or insurance support experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to learn industry-specific systems and processes quickly
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, regulated environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Nice to have
