Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support day-to-day business operations and ensure smooth workflow across multiple departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both administrative and operational functions. The Operations Administrator will play a key role in coordinating processes, maintaining documentation, and supporting internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within insurance operations.
Job Responsibility
Support daily operational workflows across underwriting, claims, or policy administration teams
Maintain accurate records and documentation in internal systems and ensure data integrity
Assist with processing insurance applications, policy changes, and related administrative tasks
Coordinate communication between internal departments, carriers, and external partners as needed
Review and organize policy and client documentation for completeness and compliance
Support reporting efforts by gathering and inputting operational data into spreadsheets or systems
Monitor workflow queues and assist in prioritizing and routing tasks appropriately
Respond to internal inquiries regarding policy status, documentation, or operational processes
Assist with audit preparation and compliance-related documentation tracking
Provide general administrative support to operations leadership and team members
Requirements
1–3 years of administrative, operations, or insurance support experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to learn industry-specific systems and processes quickly
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, regulated environment
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Nice to have
Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
Familiarity with policy administration systems or CRM platforms
Experience with data entry, auditing, or document management processes
