Job Description

The Operations Academy at Adyen is dedicated to support the professional and personal growth of our Operations workforce. We create and execute growth enablement programs, aligning with our company’s vision, to empower individuals, teams and leaders through strategic learning initiatives and scalable enablement programs. As an Operations Academy Manager you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of learning programs to onboard and continuously elevate our talent effectively, while also overseeing the data collection and analysis of our program metrics. Additionally, you will partner with global teams to drive high-impact strategic projects. Your role is pivotal in evolving our learning culture from a centralized delivery model to an enablement-focused one, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience across the Operations organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and refine comprehensive learning programs, leveraging operational expertise to ensure relevance and effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders from various teams (L&D, operations leadership, other academies) to tailor learning experiences for our global teams
  • Assess individual and organizational learning needs, utilizing data analysis to drive informed decision-making and measurable outcomes
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Partner with Central L&D and Operations leadership to drive key learning initiatives (such as Leadership Development or new workflow rollouts), managing the project lifecycle from design to adoption
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of program and learning metrics to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvements in the Operations Academy initiatives

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Instructional Design, preferably with experience in a fast-paced or global environment
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex learning rollouts, timelines, and stakeholder communications
  • Proficiency with quantitative analysis and analyzing performance metrics, ideally in the context of learning and development programs
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and consulting skills
  • with the ability to guide stakeholders who may not have a background in education
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • A background in Operations or Support is a plus, but not required
