This position is to join the Operational Testing team in Bangkok as an operational tester for Navblue Ops& Crew products. The Operational Testing team mission is to implement and run tests at an operational level, meaning using the Navblue products as they are used in Airlines by our customers. This step of operational End to End testing is the last step before quality gate for delivery to customers. The activity will be driven by the developments done by Software Factory teams working in SAFe methodology in different Agile Release Trains. Based on Program Increment (PI) content, the Operational Testing Team will coordinate with Agile development teams to get inputs on functional changes that will need to be tested. The main responsibility of the team will be to implement and run the operational End to End tests. This position is related to Navblue Ops & Crew products being Command+ Ops & Crew, N-OC and PBS. The Operational testing team reports locally to the Head Of System Integration team in BKK and operationally to the Head of Operational maturity.
Job Responsibility:
Run the Operational testing scenario (already existing for N-OC, in progress for Command+ Ops, to be written for PBS)
Update existing testing scenarios and scripts for new functionality implemented
Coordinate with the Product Manager and Subject Matter Experts to understand the scope of the new functionalities implemented
For PBS, coordinate with PBS Subject Matter Experts to write operational use cases testing scenarios
Coordinates with Release Management for different products to establish a testing planning, with the support of the HO maturity
Manage test datasets (creation, update) needed for the operational testing phase
Write and update defects found and join the different reviews to prioritize and explain seen defects
Write Operational tests results for each version/build tested, in response to a test order delivered by the Product Manager
Ensure cross team communication (escalation if inputs not received, synchronisation meeting with Product Manager or Subject Matter experts, …)
Support the continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
Support adhoc project initiatives in the organization especially during non release periods.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in aeronautical, aerospace or appropriate field with equivalent work experience
Aviation/Aeronautical knowledge
3 to 5 years’ experience working in an airline as Crew planner or Crew scheduler
Proficiency in English spoken and written
Understanding of airline operations, flight planning, or air navigation principles
Passion for the aviation industry
Must work effectively with others in a team environment
Proactive, problem solver with effective interpersonal and communication skills
Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
Ability to manage through a period of growth or transition a definite asset
Excellent organizational and time management skills
