Operational Support Officer

• Support the management of court hearing backlogs for the London and South East regions
• Process court orders and liaise with internal and external parties
• Provide front-of-house and public-facing support, assisting court users, visitors, and legal professionals in a professional manner
• Assist with court ushering, clerking and hearing support duties, ensuring accurate documentation
• Scan, transfer, file, and upload documents to electronic systems promptly and accurately
• Communicate with relevant parties to schedule hearings, serve documents, execute warrants, and collect fines/fees where required
• Provide general administrative support across court operations

• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manage data effectively
• Professional and positive attitude in a high-pressure busy environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly via telephone and face-to-face interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet tight deadlines
• A DBS check is required
• Candidates must be CTC eligible, including a minimum of 3 years continuous UK residency
