Job Description

Administrator - Rugeley (WS15 2FX). Location: Fully onsite. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (37 hours per week). Pay Rate: £12.86 to £13.25 per hour in the thirteenth working week. Duration: Six months (possibility of extension).

Job Responsibility

  • Reconcile bank accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Match receipts and payments against accounting records
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve unreconciled items and discrepancies
  • Process and monitor suspense account entries, ensuring unidentified transactions are investigated and allocated correctly
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining records using internal systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Communicating with customers by telephone, email, post, and occasionally face-to-face
  • Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous financial and administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Standard DBS check and three years of employment references
