Job Responsibility
Prepare for, facilitate, and record all types of hearings, ensuring smooth proceedings
Provide users and stakeholders with information or signpost them to appropriate support via face-to-face, telephone, and written communication
Use HMCTS service scripts and knowledge articles to guide users to relevant services, ensuring clear and specific support
Follow complaints procedures, support users through resolution processes, and update case management systems as needed
Identify risks related to HMCTS buildings, inform the Senior Person on Site, and respond promptly to safety concerns
Process work according to standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and maintain service standards
Handle case files with accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention policies
Manage jury service tasks, including scheduling, deferrals, and expense processing
Assist with listing and scheduling to optimise judicial time and respond to urgent matters
Provide judicial support such as diary management and administrative assistance
Support enforcement activities, including financial assessments and producing basic reports
Contribute to health and safety operations, including facility checks, issue logging, and safety governance
Requirements
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple contact channels
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow procedures accurately and handle sensitive information securely
A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management
Experience in customer service or administrative roles is desirable
Knowledge of health and safety protocols is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities
