Job Description

Right now, we are looking for an Operational Purchaser to join our team in Boden. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring a reliable, efficient, and scalable purchasing flow to support our growing operations. At Stegra, we are building a high-performing procurement function where speed, quality, and reliability are critical. You will help ensure that everything we buy flows seamlessly from requisition to payment, while also contributing to improving how we work. We are continuously working to develop and improve our processes, flows, and level of automation, with the ambition to create a lean and highly efficient setup. As we are still in a ramp-up phase, the role will include hands-on administrative and operational tasks in the day-to-day work.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage purchasing activities including purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and goods/service receipt handling
  • Monitor pricing, manage 3-way match deviations, and support issue resolution
  • Follow up on suppliers and deliveries to ensure reliable execution
  • Identify opportunities to improve flow efficiency, reduce cycle times, and increase automation
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across operations, sourcing, category management, and finance, as well as with suppliers
  • Support the development of transparent and data-driven procurement processes
  • Guide stakeholders in applying effective and lean procurement practices
  • Work across both Direct and Indirect purchasing categories

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in operational procurement/ purchasing, or supply chain execution, preferably within industry or manufacturing
  • Good understanding of end-to-end purchasing processes (P2P)
  • Experience working in ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Nice to have

  • SAP S/4HANA is a plus
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices is an advantage
