Job Description

The Product Engineering Unit Radio Software (PEU RU SW) organization in Radio and Transport Engineering (RTE) is responsible for the product development and delivery of the SW executed on Radio Units (RU). The sector Production System (PS) is evolving and providing the SW production system, CI/CD and environment for SW testing of the RU. We are represented in Sweden (Kista), China, Poland, Canada and work with other sites around the globe. We are now searching for OPOs that would like to be part of our journey and evolve our production system. We emphasize team work, communication and co-operation. We expect you to be a strong team player and thereby contributing to the teams’ successes. We expect you to be willing to step forward and take responsibility and actively drive issues as well as taking part in all aspects of the OPO role.

Job Responsibility

  • Clarification and translation of requirements
  • Refining and breaking down the requirements together with the teams
  • Drive, develop and prioritize the backlog
  • Manage dependencies
  • Make sure that the teams fully understand the value to be delivered
  • Work closely with other product owners
  • Play an active role in managing and maintaining our backlog
  • Collaborate with technical core team to set the roadmap needed to succeed
  • Provide an efficient RUSW productions system

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M. Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Working experience as an OPO
  • Experience of leading technical teams
  • Interest and good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
  • Strong leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional manner
  • Find it stimulating to work with teamwork, have a genuine interest in people and be a good communicator
  • You should also have the ability to work across organizational boundaries
  • Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
  • Strong knowledge in product development with good understanding of systemization, design and verification
  • Business and costumer focused with a high accountability to deliver results
  • Good English language skills in both writing and conversation
