Union Supply, an Aramark business unit and a leading provider of commissary products and logistics services to correctional facilities nationwide, is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support forecasting, inventory alignment, and cross-functional planning across Operations, Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and Warehouse Leadership. This role compiles data, analyzes demand trends, and helps support the weekly planning process to ensure accurate forecasts and operational alignment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand forecasts using historical data and business inputs
Gather, consolidate, and validate forecast inputs from Operations, Procurement, Warehouse Leadership, Finance, and Transportation
Monitor inventory levels and help identify shortages, overstocks, and shifts in buying patterns
Support scenario planning for production, purchasing, replenishment, and warehouse capacity
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs tied to forecast accuracy, volume trends, and operational performance
Ensure accuracy and integrity of planning data across systems and reporting tools
Provide routine analytical insights to explain drivers behind forecast variances
Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies within the planning cycle
Participate in weekly demand planning discussions and provide data-driven updates
Communicate forecast changes and operational impacts to key stakeholders
Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse Leadership, Finance, and Transportation to ensure alignment
Build strong relationships to maintain consistency and accuracy across planning inputs
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of operational and financial data
Follow company policies, operational standards, and planning procedures
Support system enhancements and future ERP transitions through data prep and testing
Assist with special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting requests as needed
Remain flexible as job duties may shift based on business needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, inventory analysis, or supply chain analytics
Experience with ERP systems preferred (DAX, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
