Job Description:

Ensures effective resource utilization by analyzing data, developing capacity plans, optimizing labor processes, and collaborating with stakeholders. Takes a lead in driving process improvements, providing insights, and acting as a change agent within the local team.

Job Responsibility:

Conducts data analysis to identify areas for improvement within company operations, ultimately contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and business objectives
Develops and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, promoting organizational growth and strategic positioning
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues and develop action plans that focus on driving organizational consistency and continuous improvement
Analyzes workflows, collects and interprets data, and collaborates with key stakeholders to define and coordinate Operational Excellence initiatives
Administers training programs to ensure staff members are knowledgeable and competent in their respective roles in order to effectively contribute to the achievement of organizational goals
Provides guidance and support to interns (when applicable) to help develop the skills, professional knowledge, and capabilities of individuals
Conducts audits to ensure enterprise operations and standard practices adhere to regulatory requirements and leverage industry best practices
Develops and maintains documentation related to operational processes and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and accuracy
Develops and implements change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities that driver operational excellence

Requirements:

Experience with problem solving and data analysis tools (Excel, MiniTab, or similar applications)
Experience/knowledge of project management and change management
Ability to support 2nd shift as needed
0-10% travel to support other sites
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Experience in union environment
MOST or MTM certification
Lean Green Belt certified or higher
2+ years relevant work experience
1+ years experience developing and updating labor standards
1+ years working knowledge of 5S and Lean methodologies
1+ years experience with SQL and/or data modeling
