Job Description:

Ensures effective resource utilization by analyzing data, developing capacity plans, optimizing labor processes, and collaborating with stakeholders. Takes a lead in driving process improvements, providing insights, and acting as a change agent within the local team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducts data analysis to identify areas for improvement within company operations, ultimately contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and business objectives
  • Develops and implements strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, promoting organizational growth and strategic positioning
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues and develop action plans that focus on driving organizational consistency and continuous improvement
  • Analyzes workflows, collects and interprets data, and collaborates with key stakeholders to define and coordinate Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Administers training programs to ensure staff members are knowledgeable and competent in their respective roles in order to effectively contribute to the achievement of organizational goals
  • Provides guidance and support to interns (when applicable) to help develop the skills, professional knowledge, and capabilities of individuals
  • Conducts audits to ensure enterprise operations and standard practices adhere to regulatory requirements and leverage industry best practices
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to operational processes and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and accuracy
  • Develops and implements change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement activities that driver operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Experience with problem solving and data analysis tools (Excel, MiniTab, or similar applications)
  • Experience/knowledge of project management and change management
  • Ability to support 2nd shift as needed
  • 0-10% travel to support other sites
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience in union environment
  • MOST or MTM certification
  • Lean Green Belt certified or higher
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • 1+ years experience developing and updating labor standards
  • 1+ years working knowledge of 5S and Lean methodologies
  • 1+ years experience with SQL and/or data modeling
