Job Description

Help Drive Safety and Compliance Across the UK. We're looking for an Operational Compliance Auditor to join our Risk and Assurance team, helping to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, fire and security compliance across our UK-wide property portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work independently across a variety of locations, delivering operational compliance audits and partnering with teams across the business to identify improvements and drive positive change.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting operational compliance audits at properties across the UK
  • Supporting the development and delivery of our compliance audit programme
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve processes
  • Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships to help deliver meaningful improvements

Requirements

  • Experience conducting compliance audits
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach to work

  • Take a central role in the regulatory compliance audit function within Consensus
  • Supporting the organisation to achieve its overall target of 100% compliance across all 3 regulatory systems (CQC, CIW, SCI)
  • Working alongside other members of the Quality and Compliance team, you will take responsibility for planning and executing planned, responsive, and targeted inspection audits on all support services nationally, monitoring compliance and recommending remedial actions to both Operational and Quality colleagues
  • Producing comprehensive reports and recommendations you will work with operational colleagues to support quality improvements at service level, taking a continuous improvement approach to the audit work
  • You will contribute to the Quality and Compliance strategy workstreams and take on additional projects that support the audit work
