Job Description:

As an Operational Buyer in our high-tech manufacturing environment, you are an essential link in our supply chain. You work in an environment where 'first time right', predictability, and delivery reliability are crucial. With your helicopter view and ownership, you ensure that materials, parts, and outsourced services are available on time, fully in line with our QLTC criteria: Quality, Logistics, Technology & Cost. You are in the midst of the playing field between suppliers, engineering, production, and our tactical procurement colleagues. You proactively think about structural improvements in the chain and translate technical specifications into concrete agreements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translating material requirements into smart procurement orders within our ERP system (Navision)
  • Requesting, comparing, and evaluating quotes at QLTC level
  • Conducting supplier discussions about deviations and delivery performance
  • Identifying risks in delivery reliability and implementing mitigating actions
  • Managing outsourcings and ensuring technical and logistical agreements are met
  • Maintaining current supplier data and performance information to support calculations and sourcing

Requirements:

  • Completed HBO education in (technical) business administration, logistics, supply chain, or similar
  • Experience in a technically complex environment (internship or work)
  • Affinity with procurement processes and supply chain control
  • Understanding of QLTC and interest in supplier performance & development
  • You work accurately, communicate clearly, and easily switch between details and main points
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
