Job Description

The Operational Lead drives successful outcomes by expertly applying advanced business analysis methodologies and coordinating cross-functional project initiatives. This role requires in-depth subject matter and industry expertise to define and deliver innovative solutions, significantly contributing to operational standards and the broader objectives of the function.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coordinate, and successfully implement multiple projects and programs across Operations, in cooperation with Product and Technology partners, and for/with clients
  • Co-operate closely with business stakeholders, Product, and Technology partners to define and align vision and strategic goals
  • Perform in-depth process analysis and design solutions in response to client or operational needs
  • Deliver comprehensive business requirements, prepare testing plans, and execute/oversee testing to ensure solutions meet defined needs
  • Formulate detailed project plans, including analysis of effort, cost, and potential impact on various Citi businesses
  • Challenge the status quo, display initiative and innovation in coming up with solutions
  • Ensure that all necessary project and analysis documentation is maintained
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients and internal business partners

Requirements

  • 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Funds Accounting/Middle Office/Transfer Agency operations
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Understanding of PMBOK or BABOK standard and/or IIBA / PMP certification is advantageous
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills, capable of leading meetings with diverse stakeholders
  • Very good command of English
  • Proven ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage tasks in a complex work environment
