Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Associate in Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) as part of Enterprise Functions. This role performs operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance
  • Provide operational accounting support to internal business groups or operations departments
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications
  • Perform customer account maintenance duties
  • Evaluate the operational accounting transactions and maintenance of operational accounting controls
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Financial Services Industry experience
  • Previous reconciliation experience
  • Experience with Banking products, especially credit cards
  • WellsOne Commercial Card operational experience
  • Experience with Service View, TSYS and Hogan
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
