Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accounts, research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues, resolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, and collaborate with peers and managers.

Job Responsibility:

Perform daily detailed reconciliation for Commercial Banking business products
Perform end of day balance reconciliation between Subsystem and General Ledger
Investigate and escalate outstanding items
Bank DDA to GL reconciliations
Reconciliation Open item resolution
Month-end closing & reporting including journal vouchers
Assist with Books and Records month end close
Assist with Audit and Operations inquiries
Follow up on inquiries submitted by various lines of business

Requirements:

2+ years of Operational Accounting experience
BCom or MBA (Finance)
International Banking Operations Experience
Demonstrated understanding of Corporate and Accounting Policy
Basic or intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point skills
