The OST Lead is a client-facing leadership role responsible for overseeing the Operations Support Technician team and coordinating room setup and high-end audio-visual operations for live, virtual, and hybrid client meetings and events. This position serves as the primary liaison between the OST team, meetings and events team, and facilities management while ensuring equipment is functional, safe, and professionally presented. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical audio-visual expertise, and exceptional client service skills to deliver seamless event experiences across multiple venues.
Job Responsibility:
Supervising and coordinating daily OST activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment across all venues
Serving as the direct line of communication between the OST team, meetings/events team, and facilities management
Overseeing meeting and training room daily refresh operations including furniture configuration and setup
Meeting with guests on-site to ensure needs are met and equipment setup is working properly
Coordinating setup, tear-down, and equipment logistics across multiple events
Operating and overseeing various audio-visual equipment for live and virtual events
Conducting team meetings and participating in venue planning sessions (event orders, pre-event planning)
Supervising preventative maintenance programs to keep equipment presentable, functional, and compliant with safety protocols
Managing scheduling for evening and weekend work requirements and coordinating physical inventory counts
Requirements:
5+ years of customer service, hospitality, or event coordination experience
3-5 years of audio-visual experience
Valid driver's license for operation of company vehicles
Advanced problem-solving and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate between teams
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
