Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide Operations Finance support to the Formulation & Packaging (F/P) operations. The key responsibility of this role is to assist the Senior Operations Finance Analyst in overseeing the Operations finance activities for the Savli site and Tolling sites. Includes preparing various operations finance reports on a monthly basis, ensuring they are delivered on time and with a high degree of accuracy. The role also requires collaboration with other functional teams to ensure the timely preparation and submission of monthly reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with month-end activities, such as monthly spend provisions, reclass/rectification manual journal entries for both Savli and Tolling Operations
  • Assisting in preparing monthly manufacturing variance reports, including production analysis, volume variance, Purchase Price variance, Spend variance, Toll Fee variance, etc.
  • Supporting the Savli and Tolling teams with plant fixed cost analysis and preparing monthly performance review presentations for both Savli and Tolling Operations
  • Assisting in the preparation of the Plant Fixed Cost budget for both the Savli site and Tolling sites
  • Preparing and reviewing other monthly operational finance reports, including energy consumption, period costs, inventory write-offs, and other relevant reports
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from the finance team or other departments as needed
  • Support SOX and internal audit as needed
  • Supporting the Savli site in preparing and submitting ASI returns annually

Requirements:

  • Education: B.com/M.com degree with a major in Finance, Accounting
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Finance
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI-CO module)
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Efficient in handling and maintaining proper records
  • Possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • with an ability to ask challenging questions and get to the underlying issues
  • A strong team player with experience in cross-functional coordination

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Manufacturing or Chemical/Pharma industries
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI-CO module) with a strong command of MS Excel
