Job Description:

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Operating Room. BSWMCI performs all types of surgical cases including Robotic, General, Podiatry, Colorectal, GYN, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, Endovascular, and Urology on high acuity patients. We have a total of 11 OR suites which include 2 Hybrid ORs. We are expanding our surgical footprint to add five additional surgical suites. Our OR leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • RN – Registered Nurse
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

  • Preparing the operating room ie: equipment setup
  • Preparing Lab specimens

  • Be able to circulate and or scrub a case based on the day's assignment
  • Provide Conscious Sedation to Endoscopy patients
  • Continuously and systematically assesses the health care status of the patient
  • Initiates and maintains an individual plan of care
