Job Description:

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and assists nurses with patient care for the Operating Room (OR). *** 5 days per week; no weekends***

Job Responsibility:

  • Stocks supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated
  • Assist with moving surgical equipment
  • Cleans OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens and sanitizing all surfaces
  • Assist nurse with providing basic patient care

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
  • One (1) year of experience required
  • Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision with a positive disposition
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
