Job Description:

Respond to guest repair requests and perform various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Address plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs, including equipment troubleshooting. Engage in teamwork, follow safety protocols, and promote hospitality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and other equipment
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry and operate tools and communicate to resolve issues
Identify and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utilities
Maintain and requisition parts and supplies inventory
Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall/wood trim repair, light bulb/A/C filter replacement
Repair plumbing, electrical components, internet devices, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, and other guestroom items
Program TVs
Perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers
Perform Lockout/Tagout safety procedures
Develop positive relationships with team members
Follow safety and security policies
Use computers to schedule air handler systems and make temperature changes.

Requirements:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio)
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utilities
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, energy conservation, vehicles, general building
Surface preparation, painting, minor drywall/wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical components, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, electric switches and outlets
Program TVs
Perform general housekeeping/inventory duties
Perform Lockout/Tagout system processes
Repairs on landscaping sprinklers
Computer skills to input air handler schedules, temperature changes
Must have Driver's License
Physical tasks including moving/lifting/pushing objects up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs/ramps/ladders.

Nice to have:

Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
