Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OpenText xECM professional with 5–7 years of overall experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on expertise in the Extended ECM (xECM) module. The role is ideal for individuals who have contributed to at least one full lifecycle implementation project and are comfortable working across integrations, customisations, and support environments. Experience with Content Server for SuccessFactors and PowerDocs will be advantageous.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and customise solutions within OpenText xECM modules
  • Design and build Live Reports and Web Reports to support business processes
  • Work with OpenText PowerDocs for document generation and management
  • Develop front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML
  • Implement integrations using REST or SOAP web services
  • Build and maintain logic using XSLT for document transformations
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex code defects with a structured approach
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to requirements
  • Contribute to best practices in development, support models, and system optimisation
  • Manage client interactions effectively and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security considerations are incorporated into development activities

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in software development
  • at least 3–4 years specialising in OpenText xECM
  • At least one end-to-end implementation of OpenText xECM solutions
  • Proficient in Live Reports, Web Reports, and PowerDocs
  • Skilled in JavaScript (including modern frameworks), HTML, CSS, and XML
  • Knowledgeable in REST or SOAP web service technologies
  • Strong expertise in developing logic using XSLT
  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Comfortable working in both implementation and support environments
  • Effective communicator with strong client engagement skills
  • Collaborative team member who promotes best practices and continuous improvement
