Openshift SRE

• Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation Platform
• Engineer, deploy, manage and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation to deploy and manage OpenShift containerized infrastructure and applications
• Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as compute, storage, network, logging and monitoring
• Work closely with application teams and developers ensuring reliability, functionality and performance of container orchestration platform
• Engage in the containerized application lifecycle, design, development, operation and decommissioning
• Develop new features and write scripts for automation using Python, Go, Java, Bash
• Standardize routines and unlock efficiency through automation and streamlining of the company's operations and processes

• Excellent working knowledge of OpenShift with overall 12+ years of experience - Subject Matter Expert
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a Systems Administration, Development, Dev Ops Engineering, or related field
• Experience operating in cloud environments
• Experience with Unix/Windows based operating system
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Team City, Jfrog Artifactory, Urban{code} Deploy)
• Good working knowledge of source control technologies (Git, Bitbucket)
• Good working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (python, Go, etc.)
• Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Excellent working knowledge of key computer science concepts (networking, operating systems, storage, virtualization, containerization, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of Software Engineering concepts like Software Development Life Cycle and GitOps
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills: ability to isolate root cause across networking/infrastructure, application and database stacks

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Experience with terraform is a plus
