Job Description:

mcp-use is building open-source dev tools and infrastructure for MCP to help dev teams quickly build and deploy custom AI agents with MCP servers. Think of Vercel, but oss and vertical on MCP (Model Context Protocol). mcp-use SDK is one of the most popular MCP libraries with 8,000+ stars on GitHub and 3,000,000+ downloads. Used by 20% of US 500 like NASA, SAP, NVIDIA and more than 5,000 companies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the community and run open source repositories
  • Be the MCP expert and point of contact for the official MCP committee
  • Evangelize the SDK as the gold standard for creating MCP-enabled agents and servers
  • Bridge the gap by talking to developers daily and using feedback to improve tools
  • Create guides, examples, and documentation to make it easy to get started with MCP

Requirements:

  • History of contributing to or leading open source projects
  • Already active in the MCP world or have built MCP-related tools in the past
  • Enjoy writing and talking to people as much as writing code
  • Organized and disciplined about keeping projects moving forward
  • Want to be the person who helps thousands of developers enter the AI era
