Casual Educator positions available for Wesley Out of School Hours Care at North Kellyville Public School. Join a child safe, values driven OOSH service where children’s wellbeing comes first and Educators are supported to do meaningful, engaging work.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of before and after school care programs at North Kellyville Public School
  • Work as part of a large, collaborative team to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children
  • Support daily routines
  • Supervise play and activities
  • Build respectful, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in working with school aged children in a child safe environment
  • Ability to engage children in safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Willingness to complete child protection training and follow all child safe policies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Educators and leadership
  • Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues

Nice to have

  • Certificate III or IV in Children’s Services or willingness to undertake a traineeship
  • Interest in completing a traineeship in School Age Education and Care
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience in OOSH or working with school aged children
  • Experience facilitating games, sport, or creative activities
  • Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
  • Basic computer skills
