Job Description:

Lead a small, well established OOSH service with the support of a values driven not for profit organisation that genuinely invests in its people. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced OOSH professional ready to take ownership of a service while being well supported.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the service
  • Support and guide a small, close-knit team of Educators
  • Act as the Nominated Supervisor
  • Programming, staffing, compliance, family communication
  • Building positive partnerships with the school community

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or equivalent
  • Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
  • Minimum one year experience working in a children’s service
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading a team
  • Ability to plan, implement, and review high quality programs
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Completion of approved Child Protection Training
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and QikKids
  • Willingness to work split shifts as required
