Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Onsite Support Technician to join our Technology team in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a seamless end-user experience across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related IT equipment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently
  • Support and maintain AV equipment, including conference room setups and video conferencing tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate clearly with end users to understand issues and provide effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems
  • Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with system upgrades, installations, and equipment moves
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL-based processes and best practices

Requirements

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar (preferred)
  • AV Equipment Knowledge: Experience setting up and troubleshooting AV and video conferencing tools
  • Technical Certifications: ITIL, CompTIA Network+ (beneficial)
  • Customer Service: Strong user-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move computer equipment and perform physical tasks as required
