Job Description

As our On-Site Search Specialist you ensure that customers find exactly what they’re looking for; fast, relevant and frictionless. You use insights, data and smart tooling to optimise search performance across all countries, driving conversion, engagement and commercial impact.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyse customer search behaviour and conversion data to identify optimisation opportunities on the site and in the app
  • Ensure relevance, accuracy and continuous improvement of search results across all websites and apps
  • Become Hunkemöller’s expert in Bloomreach Discovery and leverage the tool to its full potential
  • Define, implement and test search logic tailored to regional languages, behaviours and campaign moments
  • Monitor performance metrics, run A/B tests and translate learnings into actionable improvements
  • Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to figure out what the best search journey is for our customers in all our markets

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in ecommerce, online merchandising or search optimisation
  • Proven track record of improving on-site search performance using data-driven decisions
  • Experience with tools like Bloomreach Discovery, Algolia, Constructor, Coveo, Klevu, Unbxd or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into clear improvements
  • Customer-first and mobile-first mindset across all initiatives
  • Experience in multi-language or multi-locale environments is a big advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Dutch or German proficiency is a strong plus
  • You’re proactive and always looking for ways to optimise
  • You’re curious and stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity
  • You spot opportunities, test ideas, learn fast and go again

Nice to have

  • Experience in multi-language or multi-locale environments is a big advantage
