Job Description:

RPA Engineering is seeking a Project Manager, to provide full-time onsite support at Ecolab, one of our world-class industrial clients. The role provides onsite project management support for capital and major maintenance engineering & construction projects, working within the client’s central engineering team, and supporting projects throughout the manufacturing plant. Projects have a range of complexity, from facility upgrades to installation of new process equipment and piping to safety improvements and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, manage and execute capital projects with budgets up to $1 million
  • Create Capital Acquisition Requests in ETQ software for all capital projects
  • Create Technical and Capital Acquisition Review Board slide decks for projects with a budget greater than $250K
  • Create Management of Change entries in Velocity software for new capital projects
  • Create Request for Proposal documents for prospective trades to bid on capital projects
  • Descope proposals and award bids to trades for capital projects
  • Request and issue purchase orders for capital projects
  • Create the schedule and track the budget for capital projects
  • Provide contractor oversight, facilitate safety meetings, and issue daily work and life critical permits while contractors are executing capital project work on-site
  • Keep site stakeholders updated and informed on all capital project work taking place on-site that could affect the various departments
  • Align with site stakeholders for projects that could impact their specific department or impact production

Requirements:

  • BS Engineering or Technical/Construction Management Field
  • 10-15 years of experience of capital construction project implementation in a manufacturing/industrial setting
  • Ability to commute to facility location daily
