Job Description:

Our client is a Global Professional Services firm looking to an onsite IT Support professional to join their Manchester office. You will be providing day to day support on a range of IT issues to onsite users. You will be assisting end users with support on a number of applications and setting up, configuring and troubleshooting desktop, printer and mobile devices, in addition to performing regular routine maintenance. You will also have the opportunity of working on projects with the wider Technology Teams. The Manchester site is one of a Global network of offices and our client is acknowledged as one of the largest in their sector. This is a front facing role and so in addition to experience in end user IT Support in a commercial environment, excellent customer and communication skills are vital. The vacancy has arisen due to internal progression, and our client actively encourages upskilling, training and continuous professional development. There is a requirement to be onsite Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00 pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing day to day support on a range of IT issues to onsite users
  • Assisting end users with support on a number of applications

  • Performing regular routine maintenance
  • Working on projects with the wider Technology Teams

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year IT Support experience in a commercial environment offering end user support
  • Proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proven knowledge of standard hardware components and peripherals
  • Experience in supporting mobile devices (i.e. iPhone, iPad, Android devices) in a corporate environment
  • Excellent customer and communication skills
