We’re on a mission to accelerate growth across our direct-to-consumer channels and we’re looking for an Online Trading Manager to play a key role in making that happen. You’ll own online trading performance end-to-end, shaping strategy, driving execution, and delivering measurable growth across traffic, conversion, and basket value. You’ll be at the heart of our online acquisitions leading trading activity, influencing go-to-market plans, optimising current campaigns and working with the planning and digital product leads to enhance our toolkit. Working closely with the Performance Marketing team, you’ll optimise media investment, maximise ROI, and unlock new opportunities, while confidently owning the actions needed to continuously improve performance. You’ll also take the lead on budgeting and forecasting, using weekly reporting and in-depth analysis to spot trends and identify opportunities. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week from our Bradley Stoke office and 3 days a week from home offering flexibility while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Job Responsibility
Own end-to-end online trading performance, driving growth across the direct digital channel
Manage forecasting, budgeting, and reforecasting, with accountability for key KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV)
Lead weekly trade reporting, providing clear insights and actions to improve performance
Optimise a significant media budget, maximising return on ad spend and channel efficiency
Work closely with Performance Marketing teams to drive high-quality traffic and maximise ROI
Conduct deep-dive analysis into performance trends and customer behaviour to identify opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Pricing, Campaigns, and Commercial teams to deliver results
Lead and support go-to-market (GTM) plans and key channel initiatives
Shape testing roadmaps (e.g. email and conversion optimisation) to improve engagement and journeys
Requirements
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into action
Proven experience in digital trading, e-commerce, or performance marketing
Advanced Excel/data skills and experience with performance reporting and trend analysis
Experience managing or influencing digital marketing strategies and campaigns
A confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Highly organised with strong focus on delivery in a fast-paced environment
Experience within financial services or similar regulated environments
