Job Description

Our client is a leading player in the online sports betting space. As an Online Media Buyer, you will join the performance marketing team to drive growth for online gambling and sports betting brands. This on-site role in Johannesburg offers a permanent opportunity to contribute to campaigns across mobile app marketing and tracking platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are effective and scale revenue while keeping bettors at the heart of what we do.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, execute, and optimise mobile user acquisition campaigns across channels such as Meta, Google UAC, TikTok, DSPs, ad networks, and affiliate platforms
  • Manage daily budgets, bids, pacing, and creative testing to meet KPIs including CPI, ROAS, and LTV
  • Operate across major MMPs such as Adjust and AppsFlyer to manage attribution, deep linking, and data tracking
  • Analyse performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with design, product, and analytics teams to align creatives, funnels, and targeting with growth goals
  • Identify and test new traffic sources, media partners, and campaign strategies
  • Stay current with trends in mobile UA, SKAN changes, and competitor strategies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Media Buyer or UA Manager in mobile marketing
  • Hands-on experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data platforms, dashboards, and spreadsheets
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets and deliver ROI-positive campaigns
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the online gambling or sports betting industry is a big advantage
