Our client is a global leader in consumer electronics and is looking for an Online Marketing Specialist. You are responsible for translating commercial and promotional plans into clear, channel-ready communication concepts across Samsung’s owned and paid platforms. Within the category, the specialist ensures that every product launch, campaign or promotion is communicated effectively across all relevant touchpoints – from web and app to affiliate and closed partner portals. The Specialist develops strategic briefs and creative input based on commercial objectives and consumer insights. Within this role you will strongly collaborate with the other Online Marketing Specialist, Category Management Team, CRM Team, Go to Market Team and Paid Media Team, to ensure timely, consistent and impactful activation across all digital channels.
Job Responsibility
Translate commercial and promotional plans into clear, channel-ready communication concepts across Samsung’s owned and paid platforms
Ensure every product launch, campaign or promotion is communicated effectively across all relevant touchpoints – from web and app to affiliate and closed partner portals
Develop strategic briefs and creative input based on commercial objectives and consumer insights
Collaborate with the other Online Marketing Specialist, Category Management Team, CRM Team, Go to Market Team and Paid Media Team
Communication Planning – Translate category promotion plans into clear online communication strategies, defining key messages, target audiences and channel mix
Briefing & Coordination – Create and manage high-quality briefs for execution teams, ensuring all deliverables align with the campaign objective, brand tone and quality standards
Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with Online Marketing Lead and key stakeholders to ensure consistency of messaging across channels and campaigns
Performance Follow-Up – Evaluate campaign/promotion output together with Performance & Optimization Team, identify learnings and improvement points for future communication
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field, combined with experience in a similar role
3–4 years of professional experience
Fluent in Dutch and English
French is considered a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint for creating briefings and Excel for managing copy decks
Experience with Jira is an advantage
Strong understanding of digital communication workflows
Very detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through
Proven ability to manage multiple briefs, deadlines and stakeholder feedback loops simultaneously
Excellent written communication and conceptual thinking skills
able to translate commercial objectives into compelling digital communication
Nice to have
French is considered a plus
Experience with Jira is an advantage
