We have a rare opportunity for an Online Digital Sales Specialist to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring all online vehicle advertising is accurate, high-quality, compliant, and delivered at pace. Working across the group, this role will be responsible for the full digital presentation of all new, used, demo and trade vehicles, ensuring consistency, visibility, and speed to market. This is a home-based fully remote role.
Job Responsibility:
Complete and maintain all new and used vehicle adverts within the Auto Trader Portal
Ensure all advert content meets brand, group, and compliance standards
Monitor and maintain advert quality, including imagery, descriptions, and pricing accuracy
Review all vehicle photography for quality, consistency, and completeness
Liaise with site teams to rectify missing or substandard imagery
Track all vehicles reaching 5 days in stock and identify those not yet prepped or photographed
Work with branch teams to remove blockers and accelerate time-to-market
Ensure all demonstrator vehicles are advertised once they reach 90 days old, unless a suitable replacement cannot be sourced
Maintain oversight of demo fleet ages, status, and exceptions
Review all incoming stock SIVs and check against BCA/Pro or Spark valuations highlighting discrepancies or risks to management
Monitor weekly any vehicles using “opt-out” pricing and verify accuracy and justification
Produce weekly reports identifying all vehicles forecasted to exceed 90 days by month end
Monitor the speed at which trade vehicles are pushed to auction
Ensure all trade vehicles are passed to BCA weekly
Flag delays or blockages preventing trade disposal
Track all outstanding prep items across the group by identifying vehicles delayed by workshop, valet, photography, or admin processes
Support management with reporting and insights to improve digital performance
Requirements:
Strong understanding of digital advertising best practices, online marketplace standards, and the importance of accurate data presentation
Familiarity with commercial vehicle valuation tools such as BCA, BCA Pro, and Spark
Knowledge of stock preparation processes and dealership operational workflows
Good understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and brand standards in automotive retail
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work autonomously and drive performance across multiple sites
Strong communication skills, able to challenge and influence when necessary
A proactive mindset focused on speed, quality, and consistency with a high level of attention to detail
Confident in using digital systems (Auto Trader Portal, BCA tools, Spark, etc)
