Job Description:

The University is accepting applications for part-time Online Course Facilitators within the Department of Government for online programs on an ongoing and as-needed basis. The online course facilitator position, supervised directly by the course Instructor of Record (IOR), supports the delivery of high enrolled online courses at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU).

Job Responsibility:

  • Foster regular and substantive interaction with assigned students enrolled in the course
  • Provide timely, comprehensive, and meaningful assessment of course assignments as directed by the Instructor of Record
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with the Instructor of Record

Requirements:

  • Minimum of eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline
  • OR Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited or internationally recognized institution in the teaching or related discipline

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence pertinent to the discipline
  • Willingness to pursue professional development to acquire expertise in artificial intelligence
