The University is accepting applications for part-time Online Course Facilitators within the MBA program for online programs on an ongoing, as-needed basis. Applications will be placed in an applicant pool and reviewed when openings become available. The Online Course Facilitator position supports the delivery of high-enrollment online courses at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) and works under the supervision of the course Instructor of Record (IOR). At the direction of the IOR, the Online Course Facilitator helps foster regular and substantive interaction with students enrolled in the course. Online Course Facilitators are employed on an as-needed, course-by-course basis, typically for a seven-week online course. Appointment to the applicant pool does not guarantee future employment.
Job Responsibility:
Foster regular and substantive interaction with students enrolled in the course
Provide timely, comprehensive, and meaningful feedback on course assignments as directed by the IOR
Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with the IOR to support student learning and course delivery.
Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a master’s degree in a related business discipline from an accredited institution is required.
Nice to have:
A doctoral degree in business or a closely related field (e.g., PhD or DBA) from an accredited institution is preferred
Prior experience teaching or facilitating online courses in business or related disciplines, particularly in high-enrollment online environments, is also desirable.
