Job Description:

Locum Oncology Pharmacist role in an NHS hospital in Norfolk. 6-month contract with potential extension. Join the team to play a key role in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform comprehensive medication reviews and patient assessments
  • Support safe and effective use of chemotherapy and related medicines
  • Deliver evidence-based pharmaceutical care to optimise oncology patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with oncology consultants, nurses, and wider MDTs
  • Ensure safe handling and dispensing of chemotherapy drugs
  • Maintain accurate clinical and patient records

Requirements:

  • Current and valid GPhC registration
  • Prior experience working in an NHS hospital oncology/haematology pharmacy
  • Strong clinical knowledge of chemotherapy protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
